Hi there. I'm Madeline Diamond. Born in California, raised in California, Virginia, and Connecticut. I went to college in Pennsylvania and now live in Brooklyn. I studied creative writing and history at Bucknell University, where being a part of the student newspaper was very important to me.

Now, I’m an staff editor at Buy Side from the Wall Street Journal, primarily working on stories about travel gear, fashion, and home goods. I’m also a creative writing mentor with Girls Write Now.

I’m also open to freelance writing stories about travel, culture, and books, as well as features and profiles. Recently, I’ve written about book influencers’ growing role in the publishing industry for Esquire, which got picked up by Harvard’s Nieman Journalism Lab, how the pandemic changed the way women wear bras for Elle, and the best stationery stores in New York City for New York Magazine.
